Lauren Holt is an actor, writer, and comedian from Charlotte, NC. After completing her BFA in Fine Art at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, she decided to do absolutely nothing with her degree and move to Los Angeles to become a comedian.

  

 She began her comedic journey at The Upright Citizen's Brigade, interning to pay for classes. After completing the program, she performed on various house improv, sketch, and character teams. Her first big break came when she got the call from Lorne to join the cast of Saturday Night Live in 2020... which was such a great year! Nothing crazy going on in the world or ANYTHING!

   

 After SNL she's gone on to have roles in Film/TV projects such as Barbie, You're Cordially Invited, Curb Your Enthusiasm, & Pixar's Dream Productions while continuing to perform at UCB. Currently you can watch her alongside Rachel Sennott & Leighton Meester on HBO's I Love LA, and soon in Nick Stoller's Judgement Day starring Will Ferrel & Zac Efron.

  

 When she's not on set or on stage she's writing, hanging with friends, or volunteering at the Great Food Soup Kitchen at St. James Episcopal Church.
